These are rare photos of both cats peacefully co-existing in close proximity - a very rare occurrence.
Basil and Baldric are both neutered males. Basil's front paws are declawed because he was much too free about using them. Baldric has a full set of claws but he tends to keep them to himself.
Both cats exhibit territorial conflicts. Basil is the greater aggressor even though he's about six pounds lighter than Baldric. Basil will often chase Baldric out of the room (while Baldric has hissy fits all the way).
