I acquired Teekam over Labor Day, 1979 as an eight week old puppy. She was mostly German Shepherd. I think she was born on or about July 4th, so that makes her a Yankee Doodle Puppy.
I had to have her put down in February, 1992 when she was 12 years old. She was very arthritic in her hind legs and was also experiencing displaysia.
